Dear Parents & Athletes,


Greetings! The final tournament of our spring is finally here! We’ll be in Kingston this 
weekend for the Summer Slam, which is a ‘3+’ tournament (championship 4th game Sunday 
afternoon, if earned). The website is:      kingstonsportscenter.com
Also, a reminder that our fall tournament is on October 20 & 21 in Foxboro, MA. 
There are no practices in the fall (gyms are never available!); so all athletes will be contacted 
a week or so ahead of time by your coach. We’ll be playing at an awesome facility called 
Mass Premier Courts.

Dear Parents & Athletes,
What a fantastic weekend of Basketball up in New Hampshire!! Our older girls played well 
in all 3 games, finally gutting out a tough win in their 3rd game. Meanwhile, our 6th graders 
continued their improvement with their inspirational play! Additionally, a big thank you to coach 
Brown who suggested an adjustment to our offense. Coach Liam and I installed it & we saw an 
immediate improvement --- congratulations girls & Thank you Coach Brown!

1) The website for this weekends “away” tournament is:

2) Approximately 30 min. after our 2nd game on Saturday, we will have a candy/pool party at 
        the Holiday Inn in Concord, N.H. – All are welcome!!
        Pool Party – 4 to 5:00 Saturday at the Holiday Inn!
3) All games are at Colby Sawyer College in New London, New Hampshire 
        (exit #11 off Rt. 89 North) --- See you there!!

Dear Parents & Athletes,


Greetings! I’m looking forward to our ‘Queen of the Castle’ Tournament in Plaistow, N.H. – 
A few notes about this tournament:


1) This is a “3+” tournament…. 2 games Saturday, 1 Sunday, then if you’ve done well in 
        pool play, a championship 4th game.
2) The website is as follows: WWW.INFINITYHOOPS.COM the schedule should be 
        up by Wednesday night.
3) The directions are --- 93 North to 495 North to Rt. 125 – Plaistow, N.H. --- 
        Follow to 175 Plaistow Road.
4) Remember to arrive at least 30 mins. before game time!

Dear Parents and Athletes,


What a wonderful weekend of AAU hoops! Our 10th graders won a thrilling come from behind game on a buzzer beating basket by Molly (assist Alex), while our 6th graders shocked a good Cape Cod Waves team! More important, all players gave their utmost & have improved!! 


Just a few other notes:
1) Make sure you call the Holiday Inn Concord for  special Memorial Day rate by This Friday 
        (1-603-224-9534).
2) Practice is so important!! Be there every Tuesday and Thursday and practice on your own 
        every day!!
3) Our next tournament (5/19 & 5/20) is the “queen of court” tournament in Plaistow, 
        New Hampshire ––– All games will be held in a beautiful, large athletic center.
4) If everyone keeps a positive attitude, we will get positive results!

Dear Parents & Athletes,

I am so excited about our first tournament this weekend!! You can get the schedule & Directions from www.seasidesizzle.com --- Also:


1) By AAU rules, all teams must be fully assembled & ready to go at least 30 minutes before 
        the game.


2) My 11-under (6th grade) Team has an optional practice every Tuesday from 6:30-8:00. 
        Everyone should be at the DMS Thursday!


3) On the reverse there is a list of hotels for our ‘away’ tournament in New London or Memorial 
        Day weekend (5/26 – 5/27), however I encourage you to consider staying at the Concord 
        Holiday Inn. 


       We have arranged a special room rate of $99/night – Please call 
        1-603-224-9534 and mention “Atlantic Belles Group Lock” by Fri, May 11th.

5) Finally, remember that there is more than one way to ‘win’ a game! If your child is having fun,

Dear Parents & Athletes,


Greetings!  We now have 3 teams up and running as follows: 11th & 12th graders - Brian Keller; 9th & 10th graders - Rick Brown; and the 6th & 7th graders - Jim Richards.  Please Note the following:


I)  Tournaments (Rick & Jim teams):
     1.  May 5th/6th in Scituate
     2.  May 19th/20th in Plastow, N.H
     3.  May 26th/27th in New London, N.H.
     4.  June 8th/9th in Kingston
     5.  Foxboro in the fall


II)  Practice Schedule:
      Rick Brown, Tues & Thurs 6:00 - 7:30pm
      Jim Richards, Thurs from 6:30 - 8:00 (note time change...also, we'll have Tuesday practices 
                                                                                            after vacation if there's interest)


III)  Uniforms:
       All Bags, Uniforms, and Warm-ups are to be picked up on Thurs, 4/26/12.


IV)  Also:
       It is vital that every athlete practice for 1 hour + every day!!  A workout schedule is included
       on the back of the papers handed out at practice (also see blog) ...
